Highly experienced in bushfire management and uses this experience in the development of bushfire planning. Has been involved in developing and implementing Bushfire Risk and Operations Plans across many areas of NSW.
Was key in the development of 'Guideline for Bush Fire Emergency Evacuation Planning' for vulnerable developments which is now used across Australia for bushfire planning, to have vulnerable developments prepared.
Has been involved environmental assessment and bush fire mitigation and has developed a high level of understanding of environmental and building legislation in NSW.
Other skills & experience include fire investigation (structural & wildfire), incident management, risk assessment, volunteer management, emergency management, training & assessment and Incident Cause Analysis Method Lead Investigator.
